Left Bank Annex – Portland’s coolest new venue!
Happy Friday! We’re off and running this morning trying to pick up the pieces from last nights “test” event at the Left Bank Annex. In case you haven’t heard, this is a spectacular new, urban venue near the Rose Garden which features exposed concrete, elevated lounge areas, TONS of windows for gorgeous light, flat screen tv’s, salvaged doug fir, and over 14,000 sqft of room for your imagination! This “raw, industrial, pre-war building” is simply stunning and very Portland!
According to the folks at LB, The Leftbank Annex is an extension of the Leftbank Project, which was created to provide work space for Portland’s mission-focused community. In its past, the Annex was a machine shop for WWII airplane parts that grew, literally, into the home of its previous owner, the eccentric inventor Dean Child. Read more on the history here.
As we mentioned before, we spent yesterday alongside hundreds of other vendors as we prepared for the “test debut” so that by the time YOU rent the space for next event, all will be flawlessly executed! Almost 350 RSVP’s came in and the night was a huge success!
Here’s a peek of what our set up looked like before anyone arrived… Enjoy!
